Infinity Ward is working dedicatedly and sincerely on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2), which is supposed to be released on November 10 this year. Activision has already launched a teaser web site, a teaser trailer and also the logo. Brand manager Simon Wells told to the media after judging by the franchise’s trajectory through preceding launches that it is expected this game will become the highest selling in the history of video games.
The statement of the brand manager comes when the NPD group reported that the March revenues for the video game industry have come down by 17% as compared to last year. This is the first time in the present recession that video games business sales had fallen.
The CEO of infinity Ward, Vince Zampella said further on the MW2 that no detail is too small for them and every finishing touch that is imaginable is on the way to make MW2 to be the best ever. He also mentioned that he can’t make the fans globally wait further after November 10th to play it.
About the team he said that everyone is laser focused on making the most gripping experience that they have ever created.
We will be updating to the latest version of OW when season one is completed. With the update there are some new features in the mod.
1. They have it so you can set a distance for friendly tags to be showing.
So if you are close to a team mate they will show the friendly tags above their head.... but as you both move apart ( at a set distance ) the tags will go away.
This is a compromise that we could incorporate into the league if we wanted to. Some teams did not like the no tags rule we had at the beginning..... but I think everyone is getting use to it now and we should actually leave it as it is... but can use this new feature if most teams want to.
Today we issued a Call to Arms to all players of WAR with the announcement of the first live expansion for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Call to Arms will introduce an incredible array of new content to the game, including two highly anticipated new careers - the head bashin' Orc Choppa and the oath-sworn Dwarf Slayer - and a new dungeon zone called Land of the Dead, set in the desert realm of the Tomb Kings.
The Call to Arms live expansion, set to roll out for free over the next few months, will also include three in-game live events, a new RvR Scenario, added functionality to the Realm Wars section of the WAR website, the opening of the official WAR Forums, and a new free trial version of the game.
